The Aboite Christian School is committed to providing an academically challenging environment in the Fort Wayne area, that supports Biblical principles, and will provide excellent, affordable education for children, grades K-8, empowering students to become leaders and with a positive Christ-like influence in their community.

The Aboite Christian School, in cooperation with home and church, encourages high academic achievement, through rigorous Christian-based curricula, while facilitating intellectual, social, physical, and moral growth and responsibility in a culturally diverse environment that will stimulate the mind, body and spirit, by implementing 21st century educational tools within Biblically-based Christ-centered surroundings.

History of the School

The history of ACS can be traced as far back as 1924 when school was held in the 3rd and Marion St. Church with 8 students. From 1947 to 1967 the school met in a white frame building on the property where the First Fort Wayne Seventh-day Adventist Church is currently located on Lexington Avenue. Eventually the school was moved into the church building after the fellowship hall and school additions were completed in 1967. The official school opening was September 11, 1967. This was the home of ACS until 1988 when the church purchased its current school located on Winters Road in Roanoke, Indiana. The Aboite Christian School now sits on a property of 12 acres of land in a scenic country setting with room for children to play and explore the beauty of nature and science.
