Hello! My name is Abigail Hernandez and I joined Aboite Christian School in 2022! I believe God has called me into teaching from a very young age, and I responded to His calling six years ago at an Adventist school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Through my experience, I have learned that teaching is much more than academics; it is a mission field. I believe teaching students how to show honor and integrity, be service-oriented, and to have a relationship with Christ is just as important. The Lord continues to bless me personally as well as the students as we go through the Adventist Bible curriculum. Together, we learn more about God, His promises, His love, and His gift of eternal life.
Before becoming a teacher in the Adventist school system, I earned an Associates degree of Liberal Arts and Sciences, a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and recently completed a North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists teacher certification. My husband and I have been married for a little over three years and felt it was time to move closer to my family in the midwest. Now we are settling nicely into the sweet and homey Fort Wayne area!
